███████:Accuracy dispute
From Wikirot, the free encyclopedia
The accuracy dispute notice is placed on an article when an editor believes that a statement in it contradicts another article, the established timeline or the facts recorded about the people and places it names.
What the notice means
A dubious statement is not necessarily false. It may be that the article is right and the others are wrong, or that sources simply differ. The notice asks readers to treat the marked statement with caution until the question is settled on the article's talk page.
Removing the notice
An editor may remove the notice when the statement has been corrected, sourced or shown to be correct. Editors who remove it without discussion are reminded that HalvardK is watching.
