Her reign marks a period of diplomatic consolidation for the western territories, particularly through her role in bridging relations between Ostrov and Albion. Elara Victoria Montesco was born on 15 April 2038 in Port Haven, Oakenshire. She is the daughter of King Keldar the Eighth and Princess Ines Casina of Albion. Raised alongside her half-siblings, she received a rigorous education at the Royal Academies of Oakenshire and later pursued political science at the ██████████████████████. Her curriculum included specialized training in constitutional law, naval navigation, and ceremonial protocol, preparing her for the complexities of dual-sovereignty governance.[1] In 2001, following the abdication of her mother, Queen Serona I, Elara voluntarily stepped down from her position as co-sovereign to allow her then-young son to ascend the throne early. She retreated to private estates in Oakenshire until the death of King Keldar the Eighth in January 2061. Upon his passing, she resumed her duties as queen consort and co-ruler alongside her husband, King Keldar the Ninth.[2]

Marriage and coronation

[edit]

Elara married King Keldar the Ninth on 10 October 2060 in a state ceremony held at the Kaeloria Castle in Capitol Bay. The union was celebrated across Romance- and Northley-speaking territories and marked a significant diplomatic rapprochement between Ostrov and Albion. Her coronation as co-sovereign took place on 14 February 2061. The ceremony featured readings from the Harmonia Sanctum and included representatives from the Cohesive Global Concord.[3]
