The capital city of Vharnhold serves as the political heart of the nation and is home to the Vharnhold Palace, a landmark that witnessed historic moments from the early 2030s until its tragic events later in the decade. Other major urban centers include ███shire, the second-largest city, and Seabrook Haven, a vital port town situated along the Ostralian Gulf within the easternmost prefecture of █lmarka known as Ostralis Apex.^[4] The geography of the region is defined by the rugged western reaches of the Cordillera mountains and the extensive coastlines of the Ostralian Gulf, though these areas were heavily impacted by the displacement of populations during the recent civil unrest.^[5]
