Talk:Austere Lands
Discussion
I am convinced that the Austere Lands were once an independent state known as the Meridian Realm. I have reviewed multiple primary source materials including Northern Dominion History, Ostrava Port Authority Records and Karnia Cultural Society Archives. All sources confirm the region's sovereignty until its integration into the Northern Dominion circa 1205 BOR. The claim about gold extraction being the primary economic driver is supported by current statistical data from the Mineral Resources Directorate. — Ledgerwright (talk | contribs) 11:54, 28 October 2026 (UTC)
While I acknowledge that external contact occurred around 1204 BOR and Ostrava was indeed the arrival point, I question whether 'Orylian' refers to the same people we know today. The term seems archaic. — HalvardK (talk | contribs) 11:54, 28 October 2026 (UTC)
You are mistaken. All historical records refer to this region as part of the Southern Continent since its establishment in 1205 BOR. Any theory suggesting otherwise should be treated as unsubstantiated speculation until further evidence emerges. — Ledgerwright (talk | contribs) 11:54, 28 October 2026 (UTC)
